The Guildhall at SMU is a video game graduate program located in Plano, Texas. Students can graduate from the Guildhall with either a Certificate or a Master's of Interactive Technology, both of which contain the exact same curriculum. The school offers four different tracks:


Production Management: This track prepares students for jobs in the production field. This kind of work includes leading teams, managing resources like schedule and budget, and assisting the team in creating design documents. Production Management is only available to students in the masters program.


Level Design: This track prepares students for jobs in the design field. This kind of work includes creating levels and worlds, designing complex game systems (such as a talent system in an MMO), and scripting events in levels. Level Design is available to students in both the certificate program and the masters program.


Art Creation: This track prepares students for jobs in the art field. This kind of work includes creation of 3D assets, creation of 2D assets, animating character, and creating concept art. Art Creation is available to students in both the certificate program and the masters program.


Software Development: This track prepares students for jobs in the programming field. This kind of work includes engine creation, tools programming, and network programming. Software Development is available to students in both the certificate program and the masters program.
